Details

Exploring the scenic sights of Cornwall, the Lake District and Wales, Belmond’s legendary luxury sleeper primarily departs from London Victoria for itineraries that range between three and six nights as it journeys through Britain’s most inspiring destinations.

Designed by Albion Nord, the interiors take inspiration from the vivid British countryside and its vibrant landscape, with woven panelling and lavish upholstery complemented by specially commissioned artworks that nod to the décor found in a refined country house.

The train’s 18 cabins, which are made up of 15 suites and a further three Grand Suites, have each been beautifully finished to match the romantic backdrop of every journey, and all cabins are complete with private en-suite shower rooms.

Particularly noteworthy are the train’s Grand Suites, Elder, Valerian and Juniper, which stand as the Britannic Explorer’s most prominent cabins, spanning around 11.2 square metres each and offering luxurious living that features fixed double sofa beds and marble dining tables, as well as personalised butler services.

The experience also champions fine dining across two sophisticated restaurant cars, Malva and Samphire, which feature menus created under the direction of acclaimed chef Simon Rogan, focused on seasonality and regional produce, with menus designed to suit each destination.

For some downtime, the train’s Wellness Suite offers an onboard retreat, with interiors inspired by British maritime heritage and treatments devised in partnership with British skincare brand Wildsmith.
