Details

Borrowing its name from the bold era of the 1960s, La Dolce Vita combines the iconic Orient Express train with the refined hospitality of a 5-star hotel as it travels through some of Italy’s most scenic and celebrated regions.

Led by Milanese design studio Dimorestudio, the train’s design echoes the Italian golden age with interiors that showcase geometric shapes, rich textiles and ambient lighting.

Deluxe Cabins feature luxurious carpeted floors and wood-beamed ceilings that frame each journey, and each cabin features a sofa which makes for a cosy private lounge by day and transforms into a double bed by night, along with a private ensuite bathroom.

Spacious Suite Cabins offer more space and alluring interiors, with a separate bed, a sofa and armchairs, a beautifully finished bathroom and lighting fixtures that further accentuate the elegance of each cabin.

The masterpiece of the train is the exclusive La Dolce Vita Suite, a private oasis of 30 square metres that spans four spaces, comprising a living area and dining area, a bedroom complete with an ensuite bathtub, a separate walk-in wardrobe, and an elegant main bathroom.

Exquisite dining is also part of the experience onboard La Dolce Vita, and the restaurant car is led by acclaimed chef Heinz Beck, who has created gastronomic flavours that reflect the regions the train travels through.
