The art of being expected
Berkeley Travel is a member of the Belmond Bellini Club, the invitation-only programme Belmond extends to a small number of trusted travel partners worldwide. It means our clients arrive at any Belmond hotel, train or river cruise as recognised guests of the house.
You pay the same rate as booking direct. The difference is what happens once you arrive. Your room is upgraded where available, breakfast is taken care of each morning, and a credit is waiting to be spent on dinner or the spa. Our Travel Designers manage the details before, during and after every stay, from a corner suite request at the Cipriani to a private transfer from the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express.

The benefits are the visible part. The rest is judgement: knowing which Cipriani rooms face the lagoon, when the Royal Scotsman is best boarded, and which suite categories are worth the difference. We have walked these properties, and we book them for clients week in, week out.
When something needs fixing, you have one number to call. Our team deals directly with each hotel’s sales office and head office on your behalf, before, during and after travel.
You pay the same as booking direct. You simply receive more.

Bellini Club questions
The Bellini Club is Belmond’s invitation-only programme for a select group of trusted travel agencies. Berkeley Travel is a Bellini Club member, which means clients who book any Belmond hotel, train or river cruise through us receive complimentary benefits that are not available when booking direct.
No. You pay the same best available rate you would pay booking directly with Belmond. The Bellini Club benefits, including the upgrade, daily breakfast and hotel credit, are added on top at no extra cost.
A complimentary room upgrade where available, full breakfast for two each day, a hotel credit of US$100 per room or US$220 per suite per stay, top priority for early check-in and late check-out, VIP recognition and a welcome amenity. Bookings over US$10,000 also earn a US$500 voucher towards future Belmond travel. On Belmond trains and river cruises the credit is US$100 per guest, per journey.
Every Belmond property worldwide, including Hotel Cipriani in Venice, Splendido in Portofino, Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire, the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, the Royal Scotsman and Belmond’s river cruises in France.
In most cases, yes. Bellini Club benefits normally apply alongside the majority of public rates and seasonal offers. Your Travel Designer will confirm exactly what applies to your dates before anything is booked.
