Details
Within prime reach of Adelboden’s ever-popular ski terrains, The Brecon is surrounded by pine forests, and its location makes it the perfect place for outdoor adventures all year round. During the winter months, the peaks create one of the most dramatic ski landscapes, while in summer the region provides a scenic backdrop for hiking and mountain biking.
As an adults-only retreat, the hotel has been designed to emulate a traditional private chalet, and its refined style makes it well suited to both couples and groups of friends looking for a luxurious base between exploring the slopes.
Set within a historic timber structure, the ambience of the property mirrors its laid-back, alpine-inspired décor, with a contemporary take on the outdoors elevated through an earthy colour palette, wood-based interiors and a curated selection of art.
Across the hotel, 22 individually designed rooms continue the alpine theme echoed throughout the communal spaces. Ranging in size, many of the rooms and suites enjoy views of the forest or mountains, while the larger waterfall corner rooms and lofts also feature private balconies with panoramic views, along with rainfall showers complete with Aesop amenities, plush king-size beds and artworks sourced from Amsterdam.
The Brecon’s all-inclusive experience makes dining a key experiential element of each stay, with daily breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner included, as well as an extensive selection of free-flowing cocktails and a well-stocked minibar, all provided as an added perk.
For a chance to reset, the hotel’s guest-only spa offers a tranquil escape and overlooks alpine views from its heated outdoor pool, which is kept warm year-round. The spa offers targeted therapies and features a steam room and sauna exclusively for in-house guests.
