Wilderness Bisate Lodge lies in Rwanda’s northwestern highlands, adjacent to Volcanoes National Park near Kinigi. Access is via Kigali International Airport, followed by a scenic 2.5–3 hour paved-road transfer to the lodge; helicopter transfers from Kigali to the Volcanoes region are also available (about 30 minutes), with a short drive onward. International travelers typically fly into Kigali via regional hubs such as Nairobi or Addis Ababa, with additional direct services from select European and Middle Eastern cities, ensuring convenient access to the park and its gorilla-trekking headquarters.
