Details
Prominently located within Chobe National Park, the lodge encapsulates the soul of the wildlife that inhabits its surrounding plains. Its varied climes, which move through wet and dry cycles, attract evocative encounters with nature and the animals that reside in the park.
Sustainable design is championed throughout the lodge, with local influence adding an air of authenticity to the twelve luxury tented rooms that sit atop wooden platforms, offering elevated views of the wildlife and waterhole, which serves as a stage for the elephants that frequent it.
The accommodation has been punctuated by untamed elegance, with touches including four-poster beds, expansive viewing decks and outdoor showers, creating an immersive retreat at one with nature.
Across the lodge, spaces seamlessly integrate with the surrounding wilderness and offer respite after game drives; lounges and a library provide a relaxing retreat between more adventurous pursuits.
The lodge also features a 20-metre swimming pool, raised to overlook the plains, and for wellness, the spa tent offers holistic treatments using African botanicals and traditional healing rituals.
Most notable among the Savute experience are its dynamic, awe-inspiring activities. Twice-daily game drives led by expert rangers offer often-unseen sightings of elephant herds, leopards and lions, whilst birdwatching provides views of the vast range of avian species in the region.
