Diamond Club is the programme Dorchester Collection reserves for a select group of partner travel agencies. Berkeley Travel books through it, which means clients staying at any of the collection’s ten hotels receive complimentary benefits that are not available when booking direct, at the same rate the hotel offers publicly.

All of them. The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane in London, Coworth Park in Ascot, Le Meurice and Hotel Plaza Athenee in Paris, Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan, Hotel Eden in Rome, The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, and The Lana in Dubai. New openings join the programme as they come on line.

A room upgrade to the next category confirmed at the time of booking subject to availability, daily full breakfast for two, a credit of 100 in the hotel’s local currency once per stay, early check-in and late check-out subject to availability, and a welcome amenity with VIP recognition throughout the stay.

Yes. Where the next category is available when we book, the upgrade is confirmed at the time of booking rather than left to the front desk on arrival. You know which room you are getting before you fly.

No. You pay the hotel’s best available rate, the same one it offers publicly, and we charge no booking fee. The Diamond Club benefits are added on top at no extra cost, and where one of the hotel’s own offers is eligible, the benefits can often be combined with it.

It is 100 in the currency of the hotel: 100 pounds in London, 100 euros in Paris, Milan and Rome, 100 dollars in Los Angeles, and the local equivalent at The Lana. It is applied once per stay to your final bill, spent on dining, the spa or other hotel charges, and is not exchangeable for cash.

Does Dorchester Collection have a loyalty programme?

The headline benefits are similar: breakfast, a credit and an upgrade. The practical differences are that Fine Hotels + Resorts requires a Platinum or Centurion card while Diamond Club requires nothing but booking through a partner agency, and the Diamond Club upgrade is confirmed at booking where available rather than on arrival. Where a hotel sits in both, your Travel Designer books whichever leaves you better off.

The hotel’s best available rate, the standard flexible rate it offers publicly. Many of the collection’s own seasonal offers remain eligible too, which is unusual among these programmes; where a rate is not eligible, we tell you before you commit to anything.

You pay the hotel directly, exactly as if you had booked with it yourself. Your card guarantees the reservation and the hotel’s standard flexible cancellation policy applies, which we confirm in writing before anything is committed.
