Details
Tailored to each individual charter, the Maltese Falcon’s routes explore the Mediterranean during the months of May to November, covering sun-soaked destinations across Europe with voyages across Monaco, French Riviera, Balearic Islands to name a few.
Over the winter months, the sailing yacht diverts its attention to the Caribbean in search of winter sun and a more relaxed pace as it journeys through the Bahamas, Antigua, Cuba and St Barths along the most beautiful routes and striking scenery along the way.
Fully staffed with an operational crew, the yacht, which was originally launched in 2006, is made up of six spacious suites, with an interior arranged over three floors of elegant ocean living and communal spaces that include a main salon, bar and dining room.
The cabins comprise the Master Suite, a VIP suite and four further guest cabins, all dressed in a modern nautical style and each with an en-suite bathroom and individual interior spaces. The Master Suite is finished with a king-size bed and dressing areas, while the VIP suite enjoys a spacious living room and a private terrace.
The boat’s exterior is equally expansive and features a flybridge with a rotating circular sunbed, an outdoor Jacuzzi, an outdoor cinema and multiple outdoor spaces for social moments and dining on board.
Further wellness facilities span a private gym, that can be used for personal training and yoga. The yacht also has a treatment space, and massages and other treatments can be arranged during the charter.

Chartering the Jumeirah Maltese Falcon: Frequently Asked Questions
A yacht this singular invites questions. Our Travel Designers have answered the most common ones below — and through our Jumeirah partnership, we can open doors to one of the world’s most sought-after charters.
The Maltese Falcon is one of the world’s largest and most recognisable sailing yachts — an 88-metre icon whose revolutionary FalconRig unfurls 2,400 square metres of sail from three freestanding carbon-fibre masts at the touch of a button. Fully refitted in 2023, she sails with just 12 guests and a crew of 19.
Whole-yacht charters start from around €490,000 per week in low season, rising to around €580,000 in peak summer, plus running expenses. Charters are arranged on an invitation-led basis — through Berkeley Travel’s Jumeirah partnership, our Travel Designers can secure access, preferred dates, and every detail of the itinerary on your behalf.
A VIP suite with its own private deck leads six-star accommodation for 12 guests, alongside the worlds largest outdoor cinema, spa and gym. The toy garage rivals a beach club: jet skis, eFoils, underwater scooters, diving equipment, kayaks and paddleboards, served by three tenders — and with 19 crew aboard, service outnumbers guests by half again.
Summers are spent in the Mediterranean — the French Riviera, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Montenegro and Turkey — before a winter season in the Caribbean calling at Antigua, St Barts and the Bahamas. Your itinerary is built entirely around you: the Falcon’s FalconRig lets her genuinely sail, making passages part of the pleasure rather than repositioning.
