Berkeley Travel & One&Only Donate €350,000 Stay at One&Only Aesthesis for amfAR Gala Cannes 2026

Philanthropist and CEO of Berkeley Travel, Andrew Bezhenar, has been named an event chair of the annual amfAR Gala Cannes for its 32nd edition, which will see a host of A-list celebrities and changemakers descend on the iconic Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc for this year’s event.

Selected for his ongoing commitment to charitable endeavours and continued support of amfAR’s vital work in combating AIDS, Bezhenar joins a distinguished group of event chairs, including Caroline Scheufele, Pamela Anderson, Elizabeth Hurley, Scarlett Johansson, Demi Moore and Eva Longoria, to name a few.

Commenting on his selection, Andrew Bezhenar said:

This year’s event, presented by jewellery brand Chopard, will take place on 21^st May and will be hosted by the legendary actress Geena Davis for an evening of glitz and glamour at the iconic hotel, situated in the heart of Cap d’Antibes and stands as one of the most recognisable properties on the French Riviera.

The evening will also feature performances from globally renowned talent, including Robbie Williams, Zara Larsson and PinkPantheress, as well as an after-party DJ set by Honey Dijon.

The highlight of the evening is set to be the charity auction, with all proceeds going to amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research. This year, Berkeley Travel has partnered with Mr Gerald Krischek, General Manager of One&Only Aesthesis, to donate an exceptional lot valued at €350,000, which comprises a five-night stay at the stunning property.

The resort, located amidst 21 hectares of protected forest reserve in Glyfada, is widely regarded as one of the most exceptional hotels in the region. It is a Grecian hideaway, with décor inspired by the Golden Age and the coastal charm of the Athenian Riviera.

The lot to be auctioned on the evening of the gala includes exclusive use of the resort’s two most desirable villas, Villa One and Villa Nostos, which are connected via a garden and pool, creating the ultimate private beachfront oasis.

The stay includes daily breakfast, transfers, complimentary in-room refreshments, and personalised amenities. To further enhance the lot, additional curated experiences have been added so the winning bidder can enjoy One&Only’s unparalleled lifestyle offering.

These include a sundowner cruise, a private candlelit dinner on the beach for up to eight guests, a poolside barbecue prepared by the resort’s chefs, exclusive use of Cabana One for the duration of the stay, and a massage and spa ritual for two guests at the in-house Guerlain Spa.

Each of the two villas is surrounded by pristine sands and turquoise waters, offering refined living in an exceptionally private setting. Villa One accommodates up to five guests and features a private pool, sunken fire pit, two beautifully finished king-size bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen and a private gym.

Villa Nostos, which can be combined with Villa One, is a self-contained residence centred around a garden and private pool area. Modern design and refined luxury living are complemented by host service and accommodation for up to five guests, along with thoughtful touches including Grecian daybeds and an outdoor rain shower.
