Berkeley Team

The Hand & Flowers - Buckinghamshire

The Hand& Flowers is the first pub in the UK, with two Michelin stars. It is located in Marlow, only 45 min drive from central London. The atmosphere is friendly, and the menu is based off seasonal products. The core values, that Tom Kerridge, the owner stands for, in his pub. Is having an honest approach to food, where the quality of the ingredients is key to success and satisfied clients. Our favourite dish, on the menu is the slow cooked duck breast with plum, sweet& sour onion tart and almond crumble.

Berkeley tip: We suggest visiting the Hand& Flowers for a Sunday roast and Yorkshire pudding. Alongside, with taking a stroll around Marlow and re-charging for the upcoming week, by taking a break from vibrant and busy London life.

36 on the Quay – Hampshire

36 on the Quay its location sets an atmosphere, like no other restaurant. A former cottage, which has been turned into a restaurant located by the harbour of Emsworth in Hampshire. The head chef, Gary Pearce is a two Michelin star chef. The dining experience, that You can expect is simplicity and prime focus on seasonal ingredients.

Berkeley tip: We recommend leaving some space after your meal and trying the restaurants food truck, their absolute bestseller are truffle parmesan fries. Alongside with some classical fresh seaside classics, sourced from the fishing village of Emsworth.

The Fat Duck – Berkshire

Over the years, the exquisite dining experience, that the Fat Duck offers has become one of the most famous restaurants across the UK. A three-star Michelin restaurant. Known for its innovative menu and unique combination of dishes, created by Heston Blumenthal. The restaurant offers one of a kind molecular cuisine serving dishes, such as sashimi served on a glass-covered box filled with sand.

Berkeley tip: Our team is here to assist You with a booking enquiry, as the restaurant receives thousands of booking enquiries every day. The Fat Duck is a must visit for anyone who wishes to have an unforgettable dining experience and explore dishes, which they never tried before.

The Curlew – Sussex

The Curlew focuses on delivering a family like experience. Where You sit at a table with Your loved ones and share a range of dishes. Majority of the products are sourced from The Small Holding Farm. The menu offers British cuisine and the concept of Curlew is for all the dishes to be shared.

Berkeley tip: Our top selection from the seasonal menu to share with your loved ones are: the pork belly bao and the cod with fava bean miso.

The Unruly Pig – Suffolk

Dave Wall, the head chef has gained his culinary experience, by previously working at Gordon Ramsay’s Boxwood Café and Le Talbooth at the Claridge’s Hotel. The Pub has been acknowledged as Britain’s Best Pub Restaurant in 2019/2020. The culinary focus is British cuisine, overlapping with Italian dishes.

Berkeley tip: We highly recommend visiting this 16th century pub with a vibrant atmosphere. Our favourite dishes are burgers and pasta dishes, which alter based on the availability of seasonal products.
